How to Style a Shacket (10+ Easy Ways to Wear a Shacket)

While it is often disputed if it’s real word or not, the “shacket” has quickly taken over my entire wardrobe. If you’re not familiar: shackets are basically like a classic shirt jacket mixed with your favorite oversized hoodie. They add a fun, trendy, and menswear touch to any outfit, and I just have fallen in love with them. They are the perfect piece to throw over any outfit and suit literally everyone so you have no choice but to try one!

Since I know it can be a little tricky styling something new, I wanted to share 10 easy ways to wear a shacket. Try them out, you’ll be surprised how fab you feel!

Wear your shacket a bit dressed up with a cute plaid skirt, sweater, and your favorite sneakers. I love how the shacket adds a bit of a menswear vibe to this preppy outfit.
Keep your shacket casual with a pair of ripped mom jeans and your favorite hiking boot. Add a beanie for an off-duty vibe!
You can’t get any more casual then this! Pair your shacket with your favorite sweat set for a morning out on the town.
Head out for your Sunday morning donut run in this super simple shacket look. Grab your favorite pair of leggings, chunky boots, and add a big sweater. Top on, throw over your shacket and you’re good to go!
If you didn’t hear: flare pants are BACK and are the most comfortable daily look. Pair them with an oversized crew, and your favorite sneakers and a neutral-toned shacket to finish the look.
My personal favorite: the jogger shacket outfit. Grab your fave joggers for comfort, but add a turtleneck and shacket on top for a little fashion moment. Feels good, looks better.
This outfit was one of my most saved on Instagram ever! A simple but classic combo never fails. Throw your fave neutral shacket over a t-shirt dress, and elevate the look with a pair of knee-high boots.
Grab your distressed denim, chunky boots, and throw on your shacket for an effortlessly cool look.
All of the neutral vibes here! Throw on a pair of neutral cord jeans, a classic boot, and an oversized tee for this look.
One reason I love shackets is because of their length! I love how good they look paired over a dress with a pair of chunky lace up boots (my Dr. Martens are my favorite).
