Easy 5 Ingredient Protein Bars (Vegan, Healthy, and No-Bake)

Skip the overpriced store bought protein bars, and make your own out of ingredients you already own!

When I first started eating healthier, I would spend so much money on protein bars. I didn’t just buy the generic ones, I bought the high priced, expensive bars,While I still splurge from time to time, I often opt to make my own to save money, without sacrificing taste or nutrition.

I’m someone that loves knowing exactly what’s in my food (nutrition label junkie over here), so whenever I make these, I feel really good knowing they’re made up of things I eat every day. These protein bars are great since they’re no-bake, and made with ingredients you probably already own! They’re also crazy tasty. Every time I make them, they disappear soo fast! Let’s get to the recipe:

See how quick and easy that was?! Grab the recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of quick oats
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup agave
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • if needed: a splash of water
  • optional: melted chocolate chips
  1. Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add the agave and peanut butter, and mix thoroughly. I like to mix it up first with a wooden spoon, then use my hands to fully combine.
  3. Mix everything together until well combined and sticky. If too dry, add a splash of water. If too wet, add some oats.
  4. Once everything is mixed, pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Press the mixture down with parchment paper until it is flat in the pan.
  6. Next, add some dark chocolate chips to a bowl and melt in the microwave on low power. Add them to a bag, cut off the end, and drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars.
  7. Set the bars in the fridge to set for an hour.
  8. After the hour is up, cut the bars into 12 and enjoy!

Will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks
