How to Create the Perfect Coffee Bar Cart
Holiday season: exciting, fun, stressful, crazy, it’s a little bit of everything! While there are so many things I absolutely love about the holidays, there are other parts of the season that can be a little stressful. Seeing family and friends, seasonal activities, parties, gift-giving, there’s a whole lot to love.
For as long as I can remember, my family has always hosted all of the holiday parties at our house. While it’s so much fun, it’s also a whole lot of work. From finding the perfect gifts, to stocking the house with seasonal decor, to preparing lunch and dinner, it can be slightly overwhelming and stressful.
Today, I’m here to bring you guys a little DIY that will make your holiday prep easier and can be put together in under 10 minutes! Recently, I picked up this cart and knew it would come in handy for entertaining. While most of the time these carts are used as portable (hence the name), I decided to create a coffee instead! Coffee is a daily ritual for so many of us, so having a dedicated coffee space can help to eliminate clutter and streamline your morning. I’ve also found just how convenient it can be when entertaining, which is why you have to have one for the holidays. Ready to create your own?
What you will need:
- A cute cart with a couple of shelves (Just make sure it’s portable, that’s the key!)
- Your favorite snacks and desserts (I like featuring a mix of indulgent items paired with a light bite such as cake and cookies paired with a fruit salad).
- Biscotti’s are also a must on my cart! They’re perfect dipped in coffee and a total holiday classic.
- Your favorite holiday roast
- Coffee condiments (creamer, milk, sugar, etc.)
- Coffee cups
Seem easy enough? On my holiday essentials cart, I added sugar cookies (a favorite!), a bundt cake, some fruit, and (of course) Starbucks® Holiday Blend. Depending on how big your cart is, you can even add plates, utensils, and coffee condiments as well! Having everything in one place makes serving a breeze and cleaning up even easier.
One thing I love about these carts is that you can tailor them to your specific needs and make them entirely your own! You can even add after-dinner cocktail ingredients on the cart or make your own coffee cocktails to spice things up.
Since coffee is a must with after-dinner snacks, I always make sure to have the best stocked for the holiday season. I’m borderline obsessed with holiday flavors, so I was so excited when I saw the new Starbucks® Holiday Blend while shopping in Acme. As someone who frequently browses the aisles to see what’s new, I knew I had to grab a couple of bags since it’s only around for a limited time.
Starbucks® Holiday Blend is sweet, spicy, and slightly herbal which I LOVE. The flavor makes it the perfect base for lattes, pairing with seasonal desserts (hello thin mints!), or drinking straight up because it’s that good. For me? I’m a coffee with coconut milk girl all the way.
