Piña Colada Milkshake

This milkshake right here is currently my FAVORITE thing ever. The other day when I was in Philly, I stopped at a frozen yogurt shop to get a smoothie. I have to admit, I almost got a strawberry banana smoothie, but at the last second on a whim, I asked for pina colada. I honestly don’t think I have ever had anything pina colada flavored before then, so I felt that I had to try it. When I took my first sip, I instantly fell in love. It was so smooth, refreshing, and tropical. When I got home, I knew I could recreate it in a cheaper and healthier way. Here’s my take on it, I hope you love it like I do!
Yields : One
Milkshake
- 1 and 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup of frozen chopped pineapple
- 1/2 scoop of vanilla whey protein (optional)
- 1 tbsp stevia
- 1 tsp coconut extract (I get this at Walmart and use it for everything)
- 4 ice cubes
That’s it! Combine all those ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth. It may take a little longer than a regular milkshake because pineapple is hard to blend, but if you give it time it’ll come out smooth and perfect!
