While we all know Amazon is a godsend for just about EVERYTHING, did you know it was great for fashion as well? When Amazon Fashion first launched a few years ago, I was a little skeptical to say the least. When I thought of Amazon, I thought of household products, food products, and other items – but not clothing.
When I was browsing around & first started seeing apparel pop up, it’s safe to say that I was intrigued. Things seemed really cute AND really cheap. I thought, is it too good to be true? Is Amazon trying to play me here? After taking the plunge and ordering a few things, I became obsessed. Here’s my little unbiased review:
Is Amazon great for fashion? In my opinion, yes.
I’m a big Amazon Fashion shopper for a few reasons:
- Easy Checkout – This is huge for me. Their checkout is only about 2 clicks, and if you already have an Amazon account (which i’m sure you do), you don’t have to fill out any info. It’s simple as pie, truly.
- Easy Returns – This is another big one in my mind. As the most indecisive person to walk the planet, I always like knowing I have the safety net of getting my money back if I didn’t love my purchase. No one wants to be locked into something without the option to return.
- Great Price – Most Amazon Fashion items run for CHEAP as many are international sellers. Since you guys know i’m huge on budget fashion, this is a win.
- There are LOADS of reviews – 99.9% of the time, I won’t buy something if it doesn’t have reviews. Sure, brands are great at making items seem worth the money, but a candid review from a real person? You can’t beat it. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, for most products you will see 100+ reviews, many even containing photos.
Are you interested yet? For me, this is everything I need to make a purchase. While it might not always seem like it (lol), I put a lot of time and energy into making sure every purchase I make is a good one (every dollar counts ya know?) so I love how easy Amazon makes this. I recently picked up this skirt from Amazon Fashion and love it.
When looking to purchase on Amazon Fashion, make sure to look for a few things:
- Can I return it?
- If I can return it, is there a return free, or will I have to pay for it?
- Does it have good reviews? If the return is free, you can forgo this, but if not, the reviews are important.
By paying attention to a few simple things, you can have a flawless Amazon fashion shopping experience and really benefit from all of the awesome products they have to offer.
