Avocado, Egg, and Agave Toast

This toast is my favorite thing ever. You can have it for breakfast, for snack, or for every single meal ever (like me). Though this is super simple and barely even a recipe, the savory taste will convince others it took a lot of time to prepare!

Yields: 1
Slice of Toast

  • 1 piece of whole wheat bread
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/4 of an avocado (about 30 grams)
  • A squeeze of agave
  • Salt and pepper to taste

First, pop your bread in the toaster oven. While it’s toasting, crack an egg into a pan and cook until it is how you like it (I like mine over easy). When your bread is beautifully browned, take it out and put your cooked egg on top of it. Next, cut your avocado into slices and place it onto the egg. Lastly, drizzle with agave, and season with salt and pepper.
