Best Banana Bread

Hi everyone! I made this banana bread this morning and it turned out awesome. I honestly wanted to eat the whole loaf in one sitting but that’s probably frowned upon. It is, however, good enough for you that you could eat the whole thing and not even feel guilty!

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/3 cup of almond flour/almond meal
  • 1/3 cup of oat flour (can make your own by grinding oats in a blender or food processor)
  • 1/3 cup of walnuts chopped
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (I used vanilla creme)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • 2 very ripe mashed bananas
  • 1/3 cup of applesauce
  • 2 liquid egg whites (6 tbsps)
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/3 cup of water or milk
  • 1 cup of stevia
  • 1 tbsp banana extract (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Put all of the ingredients above into one big bowl. Mix together thoroughly with a mixer until you have a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan, and bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes!
