Five Minute Fruit Parfait

Okay so i’m a little embarrassed to even be calling this a recipe. It’s literally like 5 ingredients and requires 0 skill in the kitchen to put together. Honestly, that’s how most recipes are. I feel like people get so intimated by cooking if they don’t regularly do it. Even though there’s those incredibly talented cooks that know what spices and flavors and colors go well together, anyone can cook. In no way am I demeaning cooking, i’m just saying it doesn’t require that much “talent” or whatever everyone thinks. I hate when people say “I can’t cook”. Trust me, just throw some ingredients you like together and I promise it will be awesome.
Parfaits are a perfect example of that. A bunch of delicious goodies thrown into a jar or bowl and there you have it, an easy recipe that requires no cooking experience. This parfait is really good for a quick breakfast on the go. I brought these almost every day in the summer to work. They’re small to store in the fridge and easy to make at night. Convenience is my favorite thing. Enjoy!
