How to Make Buffalo Cauliflower Wings with Easy Vegan Ranch

Be warned: once you make these, you will never stop.

Are you ready to learn how to make buffalo cauliflower wings with a zesty vegan ranch?

Let’s be honest: I put off making these for so long. In my head, I thought it was going to take a long time, be complicated, or that I wouldn’t have any of the ingredients. Turns out, I was 100% wrong (as is routine). The first time I made buffalo cauliflower wings, I was shocked at just how simple the process was and how little work it really requires. Also, landing at just 5 ingredients for the wings, it’s highly likely that you already have all of them in your pantry.

These wings are crazy addicting, so don’t say I didn’t warn you when you start craving them every day. I whip these up almost once a week, and every time, they’re as good as the last. Would it be dramatic to say they are one of my top 5 favorite foods? Possibly, but I’m here for it.

These buffalo cauliflower wings are the perfect crowd pleaser. I’m talking the “how did you make these?” “these are insanely good!” “wow, I want to drink this ranch” – type of crowd pleaser. With plenty of spicy buffalo flavor packed in each bite, it’s hard to believe that they’re vegan.. and healthy. Since this recipe requires baking instead of frying (hallelujah) they’re clean eating friendly – nutritionist approved. Any time I bring these to a party, they’re the first to go.

Wings:

  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt + pepper
  • 1 cup of hot sauce

Ranch:

  • 1/2 cup vegan mayo (I love this brand)
  • 1/4th cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt + pepper
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Chop up the head of cauliflower into florets and put them into a large bowl. They should be bite-sized.
  3. Next, add the flour, water, and seasonings to a cup, and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture on to your cauliflower, and mix everything together. You want the cauliflower to be covered in the flour mixture.
  5. Place the covered cauliflower on to a nonstick baking sheet, and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.
  6. While the cauliflower is cooking, mix the ingredients together for the ranch. If it looks too thick, add more milk.
  7. Once the 20 minutes is up, throw the cauliflower back into a bowl, and add 1 cup of hot sauce. Mix everything around until the wings are covered.
  8. Place the wings back into the oven for an additional 15 minutes to roast. When the 15 minutes have passed, take the cauliflower out of the oven, and serve immediately.
