Flower Letter DIY

Flower Letter DIY

Do you guys love making things? Crafts make my heart happy. When I was little, my mom was always coming up with fun crafts to occupy my time so I think it just stuck with me when I got older. Today, I bring you an adorable DIY that works as a great wall decoration. This project can be personalized by picking letters or words that are relevant to you. Spelling out a whole word or your name would look awesome!

Whatever you chose to do, just be creative with it & have fun. DIY’s are the best because there is no wrong way to do them!

What you will need:

  • 2 large letters (I got mine from AC Moore)
  • fake flowers (I got a variety of large ones and small ones)
  • a hot glue gun
  1. Grab your flowers and cut off the stems so that only the flowers are left. Try to cut as close to the stem as possible so that the flowers will lay flat.
  2. Start by gluing down the bigger flowers on to the letters. The trick is to glue down the big flowers first, then fill in the remaining space with the smaller ones.

3) Once your larger flowers are glued down, start adding in some smaller ones around them. While you are more than welcome to use flowers that are all the same size, I liked how the smaller and larger flowers balanced each other.

4) Continue this process until you have covered both of the letters!

(Tip: add a little more glue than you think you need. Once I was done the project I went to hang them on my wall and a bunch of flowers fell off hahah, don’t let this happen to you!)

5) Hang them on your wall & enjoy their beauty! I love how these turned out. They look so cute and really brighten up a dull space.
